In partnership with OneTree Planted and Almighty Tree this year, 100 Oak trees were planted to help combat climate change and prevent biodiversity loss for generations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"core-block core-paragraph\">Tree planting is critical to reforestation and afforestation and is one of most effective solutions to the climate crisis. Reforestation has a number of benefits, and we are extremely proud of our employees for taking action and delivering on our commitment toward a sustainable environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/admin.ptcbio.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/11\/DSC_0662-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Switzerland Tree Planting\" class=\"wp-image-8756\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"core-block core-paragraph\">Some of the benefits of reforestation include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"core-block core-list core-list--ul\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Combat climate change: Trees help cool the planet by capturing and storing harmful greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, which leads to reduction of emission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support biodiversity: Trees and forests provide a home to hundreds of species of insects, fungi, moss, mammals, and plants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved air quality: Trees purify the air through their leaves and bark, capture harmful pollutants and release oxygen for us to breathe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Healthy water cycle: Trees help reduce the risk of natural disasters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve overall health: Trees help reduce stress and anxiety and allow us to reconnect with nature.
