I think the best choice I made was not letting it define me.\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<cite class=\"quote-block__author quote-block__author--name\">\n\t\t\t\tPedro\t\t\t<\/cite>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"core-block core-paragraph\">Pedro is from Campo Grande, Brazil and is living with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ptcbio.com\/our-science\/therapeutic-areas\/about-duchenne-muscular-dystrophy\/\">Duchenne muscular dystrophy<\/a> (DMD). He has many passions and interests that keep him energetic and happy. His love of writing has led him to a career in journalism, and he has even published two poetry books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"core-block core-paragraph\">Singing and composing are core passions and he has always used them as ways to express himself.
