By strengthening its virtual presence, the Foundation has been able to stay in contact with affected patients and their families through ongoing telephone calls, emails, social media engagement, and even virtual gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"core-block core-paragraph\">Despite restrictions on gatherings leading to the cancellation of the Foundation\u2019s usual fundraising events, the team recognized the importance of keeping their Duchenne community connected at this increasingly difficult time. They began an \u2018online concert series\u2019 as an alternative to the previously planned face-to-face concerts and events.
